My only problem with this game is that the archers are extremely overpowered. All one has to do in order to walk away and let the game play itself is pop out a bunch of archers, upgrade a couple of them and walk away. I actually went and made a snack while the game was going. When I came back all of my archers were still machine gunning things to death.
On the upside I liked how, occasionally, one of my archers would shoot someone in half. Its always rewarding when that happens. But shooting things in half with a bow and arrow is paltry recompense for such terrible game mechanics. I had a hard time controlling my units; getting them on and off towers is a bitch, clicking once for multiple units is silly, and I found myself getting angry when one of my swordsman would wonder off for pretty much no reason.
Keep it up though mate.

I had a lot of fun with this one. It is one of those games where it is just difficult enough to enjoy the challenge, but if you don't watch it you will get your ass handed to you. The card concept was different for me but I thought it added a bit of novelty to everything. The animations and unit designs were really fluid and pretty bad ass looking. On top of that the controls worked out pretty well too. The bonus features were also really neat. The trials and whatnot.
The downside is that it was a little difficult to keep my guys doing what I wanted, especially my over eccentric hero unit who, despite having little health, would deem it advantageous to charge head first into battle. The scrolling mechanism also got a bit tiresome. I thought it would have been kind of cool if, when your castle gets damaged, if you could somehow speed up unit production sort of like how the enemy does. Some last ditch effort to keep from losing your shit would be cool.
All things considered I had a lot of fun and pretty much liked it. Good job mate.
